Interesting roster photo of D&H #7401 an EMD GP39-2 originally RDG #3401. 
In 1976, the D&H acquired twenty former RDG EMD GP39-2 units #3401 - #3420 and renumbered them #7401 - #7420 to handle their expansion in conjunction with the foirmation of CR.
Except for the purchase of three EMD SD45 demonstrators in the late 1960's, the D&H purchased no EMD products until 1976.
In addition to the twenty former RDG GP39-2's purchased in 1976, the D&H also purchased new twenty GP39-2's #7601 - #7620 giving the road a total of forty GP39-2's.
