On a bitterly cold Saturday morning, December 3, 1994, BN ran a Santa Train west out of Lincoln, NE.  I'm not sure how far west it went, we got shots at Crete and again at Fairmont.

The following 3 pics were at Crete and just west of Crete.  Crete Mills has a huge elevator just south of the depot ai Crete and cast a dark shadow so the first two aren't the best lit shots.  This was the first time that I'd chased this train so I was glad to get them anyway!

Nice that the ex-Frisco GP38-2 still had its Gyralite back then - and lit up too!

And also still has the Frisco issued Leslie S-5T horn.

Now in H3 BNSF paint, the headlight is now located where the Gyralight was.
