CN Depot Friday, Baudette, MN -- Walt Dunlap

A Canadian National line crosses the Rainy River from Rainy River, Ontario into Baudette, Minnesota.  The Baudette Depot is still there according to Google Maps.

On May 26, 1983, besides photographing the depot, Walt caught a train in town for a total of 9 photos.  The lead loco was CN SD40 5208 built in September 1971.

Do you suppose the many brackeets on this roof and those of Soo were to save the roof from collapsing in a heavy wet snowstorm?
