MRL operates a great stretch of railroad. ALLEN Date: 12/19/18 06:42 Re: MRL's LM in '95 . . . Author: santafe199 This shot keeps looking really, really familiar., So I went digging: In my 1995 MRL timebook I worked an LM train out of Laurel to Helena, which is the 1st crew district. I had the same 392 (same paint) with trailing units 265, 108, 116, 218 & 8929. In my time book the order of the units was always taken off the call sheet, and didn't necessarily conform to the actual order of the consist. Also, since this shot is west of Helena in the 2nd crew district (Helena ~ Missoula) a unit(s) could have been added/subtracted at Helena. But the date of my trip was Feb 3, 1995. Very spooky similarity with your shot here... ;^)
