Some Chicago Great Western Switchers -- Walt Dunlap

1. CGW 61A and 61B were a TR2A and B at State St. Yards, St. Paul, MN on September 1, 1962.

2. CGW NW2 24 (built May 1948 became CNW 1027) at Sycamore, IL on June 23, 1962.

3. CGW NW2 27 and RS-2 53 at Oelwein, IA on August 8, 1962.

4. CGW S-1 12 (built June 1948 became CNW 1217) in Cannon Falls. MN on August 31, 1962.

5. CGW S-2 9 with the way freight at Ingalton, IL on Decemebr 28, 1962.

6. Herald.

Man, thanks so much for posting these, esp. the Ingalton shot.  When I was a kid, some 30 years after that shot, I played soccer on fields just south of there for a few years.  Now, the soccer fieds all have rowhouses on them, and the CGW is gone.  Hhhh....
