Maybe that's the original r.o.w. through the city of Reading showing on the left?  Or is that track still in place?  Can't remember.

Yes, it is Blandon, PA.  That is the former Temple Hill line r.o.w. going out of frame to the left.  behind the photographer the mainline will go back to two tracks east to Allentown.  Train is coming up the Blandon Low-Grade.

Yes, Blandon. The first time I was there the original Temple line was still in use to Reading. A couple years later it looked like this and the Temple line was gone, only the Blandon Low Grade remained. Progress, the single track here is now a choke point for NS.
