1. CP FP9 1410 with the westbound Dominion, 2 units, 5 boxes of mail, 5 mail express, 2 coach and 1 diner on June 10, 1963.

2. CP RDCs 9021 and 9250 as Train 211 at Belbeck, Saskatchewan on June 12, 1963.

3. CP RDCs 9021 and 9250 as Train 211 at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on June 12, 1963.

Interesting that some of CP's RDC units had the vandal window guards.  I can understand the big city and modern society, but in that era were there vandals on the high plains of Canada!?

My guess is hitting Moose and other big animals.  Pure guess.

The CPR said the problem was large birds being struck at speeds up to 90 mph.

Two sets of interesting photos, Marty.  Thanks for posting.

The #1 shot in this sequence has no location listed.  Does anyone know where the shot was taken.  Just curious.
