By The Time I Get To Pasco 7-27-1994 Part 1
Author: RailRat

The one and only time I got to be around the Pasco Wa. area.7-27-1994 at Sunrise, Bright and Early.... Most of my short 6 year video documenting stint was usually spent around the UP/SP in South Eastern Idaho and Northern Nevada Between 1989 and 1995.

This was a once in a lifetime chance to see what was going on up in the Pacific Northwest on the BN, during a buisness trip, a rare treat for me.

Video is Converted from VHS Tape to Digital, Definately Not High Definition Video!

Interesting BN B Unit in consist At Beginning of footage. Plus views of Power of the time sitting around the Roundhouse.

Well, this comment certainly shows you didn't live around the BN much during this era as this consist features two
of the BN's least favorite GE's on the point, an LMX that crews hated for their rough riding, and a B30-7A, I always
labeled it a B30-7AB, which were notoriously unreliable.  The BN had about 125 or so of them, and BNSF got rid of
them as fast as they could after the merger.  I don't believe any made it to the year 2000.

Nice video, thanks for posting.

Oops, corrected date to 1994, not 1996, my bad.

Enjoyed the video. The BN glory days at Pasco a year before the big merger. Train looks like #92 as that was about the time it came into Pasco on the run east from Wishram, with #2 usually following a couple of hours later.

Fun seeing the engine servicing area as well from back then. Lots of memories from working the trains to Pasco and then taking the units to the shop there to be serviced. Then catch the van to the hotel for rest.

Thanks for the look back to 1994...

There were only 100 of the LMX units but they seemed to be everywhere.   You'd think there were 1000 of them the way they always appeared at every major terminal and on many of the road trains across the entire BN system.

My bad here.  There were only 100 of the LMX units, but the B30-7A's were something like 125, which is what I meant.

Sorry for the confusion.
