Looking like it's paint is still wet, D&RGW 615 sits in the sun, while nearby 'sleeper' X2382 is envious. Feb. 9, 1977 @ Denver.

Neat.  Haven't seen a DRGW gon prettied up like that before.  Bet it didn't stay that way for long.

That is a nice looking gondola but I really like the old box car as a work car
with pole pockets and the brake wheel on top.

Thanks for sharing these photos! I'm glad you got them.

There are others that know better, but my guess is the Gon is a 56000 series car, we can't see all of the numbers though.
