Short clip from Chicago, looks most is before 1970. Sorry about the quality and my editing. I didn't know E-L had freight Alcos, and what rr had the 22 & 23.

The 22 and 23 were GP40's owned at that time by EMD used as "loaners" due to frame cracks roads had experienced with their early GP40 units.   The 22 and 23 eventually went to Penn Central and ran in their fleet.   

Great video to share here and thank you for that.  I sure wish the EL units would have traveled more broadly on the Burlington Northern system.   They would have been ice to see in the mountains in the west but I don't think they made it past the Twin Cities.  

22 and 23 were EMD GP40's that were supplied to railroads while EMD performed bolster repairs to the customers own locomotives. 22 and 23 spent a great deal of time on PC but it is difficult to know who's units they "belong to" at that time.

EL bought 15 C424's in 1963 (2401-2415) and 12 C425's in 1964 (2452-2462).

GREAT STUFF !  Watching those CGW F units getting out of town on the B&OCT Altenheim Sub was worth the TO subscription.

Excellent.  Like seeing those boxcars go by between 3:51 and 4:00.
