The opening in the floor with ladder access give a clue. I would hate to be working on the hot trolley then touch the steel angle coming up from the carbody.

I would imagine that it would be de-energized, and I have seen Metra workers run a grounding wire from the overhead wire as a precaution. Any comments or further information? I am by no stretch of the imagination an expert! |
