What Do You Make of this Car ?

Another from the late Key Route Ken.

It is Key System 1905 and the round sign says "Key Route Depot".  Would that be the Key System Mole?  It's sort of a double California Car, i.e., two closed ends with a bigger open middle.  There looks to be only a motorman and a coductor.on board.  No date or photographer.

Not being a Key Route expert, I wouid say that the Key Route Depot wolud be the one in Central Oakland.
Need to hit the books on this one.

Possibly used on Key's Leona Heights route?  Intended maybe as a sightseeing deal, and not used every day.  Very interesting construction. I wonder why it has a full length mesh panel hanging beneath the car body
