Nostalgia & History > D&RGW & The Flatirons ... a different perspectiveDate: 03/22/19 05:37 D&RGW & The Flatirons ... a different perspective Author: valmont I've posted a number of pics from the Boulder CO area that have the spectacular Flatirons in the background of a train shot, but here's a view from a different angle that shows how impressive they are ... and with a train (surprise!) again. Took this shot a while ago ... Nov. 15, 1969 near Plainview. The trains passing through this here have changed .... the Flatirons, on the other hand, have looked the same for a long, long time.
