Author: refarkas

Here are two for today.
1.) Amtrak 971 is crossing the Susquehanna River bridge in Havre De Grace, Maryland on August 9, 1983.
2.) Birmingham Southern 218 is in Birmingham, Alabama on April 8, 1974.

I have shot more pictures of that bridge than any other I have ever photographed. The north side borders a VA hospital, and it was a park like setting where you could just sit by the Susquehanna and let em' roll. Lot of freight traffic back in those days too! Nice shot, nice memory!

The Amtrak train looks to be the Montrealer, with a 10-6 sleeper and Slumbercoach ahead of the Amfleet cars.
