.   .   .   in summer '85, a Sabine River and Northern job was headed back to a large paper mill after interchanging traffic with UP at Mauriceville, TX. Happily, this shortline is still in business.

 Very nice----looks like they have some of their original boxcars in tow as well....

Nice ! Don't see many shots of this road. 1506 was one of 2 ex-RDG GP7s on their roster.

Not surprising. They had that fleet of boxcars to make sure they had a stable car supply. One that couldn't be diverted.
