6 UP units up front, where?
Author: valmont

UP #3069 with 5 units trailing, not the eclectic mix of power of many years ago, but still an impressive bunch of power (SD45 #3605 tucked in there), need help on location. Peru? No date.

Howdy,

I'll say it's a westward train at the east end of the Peru siding, around 1969.

Take care,

Mark

Top of Peru Hill, train is westbound having climbed out of Green River, WY.  No idea on year.  Here is a recent photo at the same location but looking the other direction from the other side of the tracks - https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,4804555,4804555#4804555
