EL local in Kent, Ohio
Author: EL833

During the later EL years Kent, Ohio was served by a local out of Leavittsburg (Youngstown area). Power was usually RS-3's or C-424's. In this November 1975 view C-424 #2410 is moving west to eventually run around it's train for the return trip east. The former A&GW station was saved and is a restauant today. This location also still has both mains intact and used, but only on a limited basis by the ABC (Akron Barberton Cluster) since only three customers remain on it between Kent and Ravenna.

Nice Roger !  If I remember correctly, most of those 2400s had that Leslie single note honker for an air horn.

Rod, yes they did- and generally had another single note horn facing the rear behind the left hand seat.
