Nostalgia & History > Warbonnet Wednesday -- Wigwam and a freightDate: 07/10/19 09:41 Warbonnet Wednesday -- Wigwam and a freight Author: gcm Oct 94
(1-2) Spent the night in the interesting Wigwam Hotel in Holbrook,Az. It was built about 1950 along Route 66. Near the Santa Fe main and the station. Date: 07/10/19 09:42 Re: Warbonnet Wednesday -- Wigwam and a freight Author: gcm (3-4) The concrete baggage/freight part of the station was built in the early 1900's.
The nice stone building on the far end was the passenger part built in 1892. Both parts are still there (and the Wigwam is still in business). (5) An eastbound passes the station.
