(1) About 40 miles west of Houston, SP GP9 3325 leads an eastbound on the now abandoned (SanAntonio & Aransas Pass) Eagle Lake - Houston Bellaire Branch.
Ready to cross the Santa Fe Southern Division line at Wallis,Tx (route of the Lone Star).

(2) A pair of Katy GP7 units work the Houston Eureka Yard.
A few red units were still around.

Wow look at all those signal heads in the first photo. I don't think I've ever seen so many separate signals within such a short stretch of track before.
