A Sunday matched set, Alaska . . .
Author: 3rdswitch

.   .   .   back in JUN '94, Alaska RR's northbound Seward to Healy coal empty is running along the Turnagain Arm near Indian. It had added fifteen cars of freight out of Seward as well as picking up ten or so additional cars, including an RDC at Portage. Leading the train was a standard for the day set of six of Alaskas unique GP49 model locomotives.

Nice ! Unique model that didn't give EMD much business. I like their headlight package.
