MKT GP7 units over a bayou
Author: gcm

April 88

A pair of GP7 engines are headed to the Katy Eureka Yard in Houston passing over White Oak Bayou.
This is the line that went from the yard to downtown and beyond.
It is now a bike/hike trail to the downtown area.
Unusual to see a feshly painted caboose but I believe this one was in an accident and repaired.

Great catch. That caboose made it even better.

Definitely like photos of vanished scenes.
The Katy was looking good in your photos.
Thanks for the photo posting.
