Date: 07/22/19 07:57 Re: Matched set Monday, BN . . . Author: 3rdswitch It appears from various publications, the first were built in '82 and most retired by '90, so, less than ten years?

I seem to remember a post on TO saying the buff forces on the couplers ruined the draft gear housings.
AFIK, fuel tenders supplied all the locomotives in the consist, as each unit was equipped with fuel transfer gear and hoses. I can be corrected on that. Nick Tharalson, Marion, IA Date: 07/23/19 03:25 Re: Matched set Monday, BN . . . Author: dan they may still be used as tank cars
