Nostalgia & History > Menu Monday: PRR Penn Texas Childrens MenuDate: 07/22/19 09:03 Menu Monday: PRR Penn Texas Childrens Menu Author: Railpax71 We rode the PRR Penn Texas from Washington, D.C. to St Louis. My mother carefully saved the children's menu.
The Penn Texas was a NYC to St. Louis train with a section from Washington to Harrisburg. Menu circa 1958. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 07/22/19 09:34 by Railpax71. Date: 07/22/19 09:45 Re: Menu Monday: PRR Penn Texas Childrens Menu Author: czephyr17 Interesting!
In April, 1958 four sleeping cars on the Penn Texas went to MP trains (New York to Houston, New York to San Antonio, New York to Fort Worth, and Washington to Houston). As noted, one New York to Dallas/San Antonio sleeper went to the Frisco.
