Having just departed Potomac yard, Richmond, Fredicksburg & Potomac EMD GP40-2 141 rolls South passed the stately Amtrak station with mixed freight.

On a crisp early morning, a fast moving TV-171 (Orange Blossom Special South) is making the left hand turn at Port Reading Junction (relay box).

Richmond, Fredricksburg & Potomac EMD GP40-2 143 leads a CSX B36-7, CSX GP35 and another RF&P GP40-2 off Conrail's Lehigh line and onto the Trenton line for a quick trip down to Philadelphia and CSX home rails.

In the foreground are some tracks from the ex-Reading Lines Manville yard.
