Note the large pressure relief valve on the dome. At high concentrations, H2O2 is some what unstable and any contamination would cause it to rapidly degenerate.The Vancouver FMC plant closed in the early 1980s.

The understatement of the year. As far as I know, you can't buy it at 60% or higher until your facility has been inspected and approved. It's a good monopropellant for rocket motors; just takes a metal screen to catalyze the decomposition. |
