Author: KingCoal I remember running down the hill (where my grandparent's house overlooked the Jalappa School in Pottsvile) just before supper time. I would go down to Railroad Street and watch the Reading come out of the mines. After it passed, I would go across Railroad Street and part way up the hill (near where Cudahy used to be) to watch the PRR centercab pull its loads of coal. It was many years later that I actually saw photos of those units that I remember. Thank you for all of your posts.
