What's also great is that both buildings still exist - check out Google Maps: Click to view contemporary view of station Date: 08/14/19 08:28 Re: CNJ Babyface Baldwin working alone Author: thebluecomet The train is westbound passing the CNJ Bethlehem passenger station. The Lehigh Valley was on the other (south) side of the Lehigh River. After the CNJ pulled out of Pennsylvania in 1972 the tracks were pulled up roughly halfway to that bridge in the distance all the way east to Easton. The Baldwins lingered on until the 1972 pull out after which the CNJ dumped all their oddball power. The Baldwins lasted longer than the F3's since the F's were of greater trade-in value on the SD35's purchased in 1965.
