Nostalgia & History > A Film Star and a WarbonnetDate: 09/11/19 12:00 A Film Star and a Warbonnet Author: GRNDMND M&ET GE 70-ton loco #602 rests with SFe F7A 308 outside the shops at Barstow, CA in May 1969. Most likely in for wheel work, the 602 and sister 70-tonner #600 along with the railroad, were featured through-out the 1955 B-flick, Night Freight, starring Forrest Tucker. Thanks for looking back at the "mighty M&ET"!
