Here's some photos taken on 2-14-76 while pacing SBC inbound train #3 below Mexicali with GP40 2106 on the point. A real mix of equipment and paint schemes.

Here's some of the power and cars in the Mexicali yard that day with GP18 2304, servicing GP40 2109 and a clean looking camp car.

Some of the passenger cars seen that day at the station and in the yard. Maybe someone knows the heritage of these cars? Not sure if they're ex-US

Photo # 7,   Sleeper  Rio Colorado  ex pullman Lake Eleanor built 1926    a 10-1-2    style car  or  10 sections, 1 drawing room, 2 compartments.

Photo # 8  car 5118   ex   MP  466 or 467   Budd 1948

Can not make out car numbers of the IC car or the blue and yellow.

Appreciate the comments and info.
The two cars in photo 2 when pacing look to be the 1964 & 1938. The FCP car in pic 9 is the 1548. I figured that first car on the train was ex-IC, but can't see the number. I have photos of other cars that day also.
I have a slide of a steam engine in the yard that I'm almost certain went on display around there within a year or two. I was going to post that on the Steam Board.

1964  is the EX BN  - GN  1232

The1938, my notes say is ex B&O, others say Lackawanna

1548 looks like a 14 or  16 section sleeper converted to a coach.
