Georgia Railroad business car 300
Author: gcm

The 300 is in Atlanta.
Built by Pullman-Standard in 1930 as a lounge car on the Crescent Limited.
Purchased by the Georgia Railroad and converted to a business car in the early 50's.
Retired in 1982, the car is now in private ownership.

Does the Georgia 300 get out much anymore?

For a while, it was in the news quite a bit if I remember.

Excellent Plus!  Once again,  you reached out to photograph a subject that many others had overlooked or passed on including yours truly.
Thanks for posting this interesting series.

Still at Orange Park. I saw it from 97 & 98 on 9/11 and 9/16. Looked blue to me. Very nice pics!
