UP odd couple nose to nose: turbine & U50

Here's a pair of UP big power locos in a staring contest ... don't know where ... but U50 #40 7 turbine #24/24B made for a pretty good picture. Only RR that could do this and although SP had 3 U50's, they didn't have the 'Big Blows'.

Great photo. Too bad non of the U50s were saved.  Not likely to see any loco like it again.
