Nostalgia & History > More Lehigh Valley QuestionsDate: 10/09/19 20:21 More Lehigh Valley Questions Author: MartyBernard I'm looking for a location, a train name, and other related information. The caption I have so far is:
Lehigh Valley Railroad steam locomotive 4-6-2 K-6B 2099 with Train 9 location unrecorded on June 1, 1948. Photographed by Donald W. Furler, Furler-22-053-01, © 2017, Center for Railroad Photography and Art Thank you, Marty Bernard Volunteer Center for Railroad Photography and Art Edited 2 time(s). Lehigh Valley's two big trains were the Black Diamond and the Asa Packer. Most likely one of those.

Chris Bost Leesport, PA Date: 10/09/19 21:09 Re: More Lehigh Valley Questions Author: perklocal I concur with Chris. Just west of Mauch Chunk at Coalport MP124 off the CNJ bridge.
