I tried to do a then & now at the Kansas Ave Hi-Line of the KCT.  I couldn't get to the same spot, so the 4014 shot was out on the curb. I didn't know if I was going to go this morning or not, and I am not a photographer, after looking at what I took, better planning on my part would of helped. The 807 is from a negative collection of 18 negatives of the 807 around KC Ks/Mo probably taken around 1954. i will put these on TO soon. Any help on the pics is much appreciated.

Considering you couldn't scale the razor-wire topped fence to the left, you did just fine. Great before and after.

Thanks for sharing a wonderful comparison. A railroad above grade and below grade at the same location is interesting too. Is the track at grade a track to access industry or is it a foreign RR?

It is the 2 KCT tracks that went into/out of the Rock Island Armourdale Yard. The 807 & 4014 are on the Hi-Line track 75, 74 is next to it, they went west to the UP ML, farther to the right on the HL, track 76 took off of 75 and the MOP & CGW passenger trains  went north out of KC KS. KCRW287
