That's a beauty!  The whole windsheild area is sharp with the headlights and dual mounted horns!
And like the Penn Central units, it looks great in black!

I like the early SCL two color logo on this- most units I've seen with it were former SAL engines.

Roger,

1343 ran in "split image" scheme following SCL merger, SAL paint, SCL lettering.

SCL DID put SAL painted logo's on noses of former SAL GP-30/GP-35/GP-40/SDP-35 and U-30-B's.

A number of them simply had the SAL painted emblems reapplied once the unit was painted black and there were quite a few of these.
