I'm still looking for date and location of this Bruce Black shot .... hoping at least someone can provide location.

I wonder why the maroon on the tender and lower walkways looks more brown than red? Is it paint fading or the early Kodachrome Bruce was using? Perhaps he was using a different film this day.

There was a full load of coal in the tender so the steamer is likely headed out to get onto a train. Perhaps Bruce got the image when the engineer stopped so the brakeman could line a switch. Another rods down image.

That's a Hudson I would have loved to experience in person.  CP's were great to look at.
