Thousands of cars go by this CSX bridge every day

But very few photos are taken. Photo taken from the edge of I95 on the safe side of the guard rail. Access is from a local street - no parking on the interstate.

OK, my guess is that this is part of the old "Royal Blue Line" of the former B&O between Baltimore and Philadelphia.  Is this correct?  And what river or creek is that under the bridge?

Cool bridge. Is that an upside down Pratt truss ? What would be the reasons behind doing it this way as opposed to a normal upright truss ?

Through truss bridges limit larger oversized shipments such as transformers, etc. where open deck bridges have lesser restrictions.

# 8737 is an  old Conrail engine , # 5614 .

Looking at the map I guess it was a rough hike from a rough neighborhood into there. No small wonder I've never seen a photo from there!
