New GE C30-7 units for NdeM - Oct 79

Ran across these brand new at the time C30-7 units on an SP freight in Houston on the way to Mexico.
C30-7 - 6718-6720

 Very nice photos! When N&W would send brand new units out of Landers Yard in Chicago for St. Louis or Kansas City, they too would space each locomotive between freight cars. I recall them doing this with Frisco and NdeM units.

Any idea what the placard mounted on the handrail said on these units?   I suppose it included some form of delivery instructions.

What I could read it had engine weight and other text I could not decipher.

Nice catch!  New units in transit are always nice to get, especially export units.

GEK-30088 looks like GE Industrial's (now ABB) code for publications. It is probably the maintenance manual's publication number.
