When Metroloink (Los Angeles) was brand new, they brought out the equipment for the public to see and get familar with. Hard to believe this locomotive has probably been retired with the arrival of Metrolinks newest locomotives, but I caught it when it was brand new in August of 1993.

Yikes! Almost 27 years ago????

A neat memory, is the photo from Moorpark, CA?

I believe there is only 1 of the Metrolink F59PHs left running at the moment, I saw the 873 the weekend before last in Los Angeles.  Lots more stored at Keller Yard along the LA River.
