1. 17 north leads a train past the old Dubuque IA passenger depot in 1985. W.V. St Peter Photo. 2. 94A leads two more F's and some SD's at Pleasant Valley IA. Photogrpaher and year unknown. 3. On September 2 1979, engineer Al "Maverick" Mangler is at throttle of Train 107 at Martelle, IA. It will take the train another hour to reach its destination of Marion IA Dennis Hertrich photo. Thanks for looking! MILW86A Date: 01/19/20 08:34 Re: Milwaukee Road Sunday Author: ghemr The third photo with the 94A is my favorite. The weed-covered roadbed and the lean of the locomotives is unique!
Date: 01/19/20 08:44 Re: Milwaukee Road Sunday Author: King_Coal Thanks for sharing these views of the Milwaukee in Iowa. Didn't know they had such a modern looking depot in Dubuque. I suppose it's under the US151 expressway now. Hardly a trace of the MILW in Martelle.
