Please post more if you have them. Date: 01/19/20 10:48 Re: 6 more depots from 1967 trip Author: santafe199 Good grief! During my 23 year stint with MRL I had direct, or at least 'across the river' (MILW-Superior) contact with 5 out of the 6 depots/locations you posted. Most depots were long gone, but the one I had no contact with is still there (Newcastle). And believe it or not that tin-can, shack looking depot at Philip was still there in '87! Small world, eh... :^)

I passed by Newcastle WY in 2008. Located on the BNSF main east from the northern exit from PRB, it is decidedly less backwater today than it appeared in 1967. Thought I had a photo. Tim Costello Date: 01/19/20 12:43 Re: 6 more depots from 1967 trip Author: ntharalson On my last trip to the Powder River Basin, 2015 I believe, I managed a shot of the Newcastle depot. It sill looked much the same, only the
Railway Express sign was missing. Thanks, Lance, for the update on Philip and Wall. Although I lived in that area, Pierre for two years and Sturgis for eight, I never got to either of those locations.
