James Estes seems to be one of those individuals of which little is known. I do know the majority of his images were made in the 1960's and that he tended to concentrate on the roads of the Pacific Northwest, namely the Great Northern, Northern Pacific and the Espee.  Over the years, a number of his slides have made it into my collection..  Here's to James !

Nicely done!  Great set of images of classic power!

No doubt everyday stuff back in those days. But in 2020 these images are sparkling GEMS one & all!!! Kudos to Mr Estes, and thank you for getting out of the cave to post another in a long line of great threads... :^)

Fantastic post and tribute !   I'd like to have one of those 1967 Ford F-150s parked in the Rack aside of the GN 404.
