CHI: Is Hohman Ave tower still around?

Came across this shot from the early 90s in Chicago at Hohman Ave tower. Is the tower still there, and is it still used? Don't know anything about this scene, railroads, the train, etc... JG

That's in Hammond, Indiana.  A w/b train on NS, ex-NKP, is crossing the IHB.  If the tower is still there, which I doubt, it's probably not in use.  Gerry

Hohman Avenue crosses the tracks on a bridge now.
