1. SOU NW2 2206, a slug, and another working in Atlanta, GA on October 26, 1968. 2. SOU GP35 2674 in Atlanta, GA on October 26, 1968. 3. SOU GP7 2065 and slug in Atlanta, GA on October 26, 1968. 5. Interstate RS3s 36 and 39 built in Nov. 1953 working in Atlanta, GA on October 26, 1968. Interestingly, Interstate RR still exists as an operating subsidiary of the Norfolk Southern. Enjpy! All built on ALCO trucks except #2703 & #2704 built on Blomberg trucks. Also #2526 & #2641 are GP35 units built on Blomberg trucks as replacemnets for two wrecked GP30 units with same RNs. Five GP35 units from CofG built on Blomberg trucks. Thus, SOU owned a total seventy eight GP35 units; only nine were built on Blomberg trucks. ALLEN |
