UP folks actually.The SLSF 870 is on the point of WB UP train north of Menoken (Topeka) Kansas in September 1978. Back in the 70s there was all kinds of foregin power to be seen on the UP. That was true even up until recently. NS and KCS power were common on the UP. Ferromex, CSX and BNSF occcasionally.  Seems like lately the foreign power has compltely diasppeared.

I miss those days when you might know a train was coming. But you never knew what would be on the point...
