Nostalgia & History > Banana through the gloomDate: 03/28/20 08:13 Banana through the gloom Author: rbenko Since they are now part of history, I find it apropos to post a shot here on the N&H board.
Appearing out of the gloom of twilight over the Susquehanna river, HHP8 654 leads a northbound regional past construction equipment barricading the southbound main over the massive, aging Susquehanna river bridge. The lead to Norfolk Southern's Port road is in the foreground. Photographed on July 25, 2005 from the Perryville, MD station. Date: 03/28/20 08:13 Re: Banana through the gloom Author: rbenko A little later as daylight is barely hanging on, a southbound regional led by a sister HHP8 glides over the massive structure. This shot was taken from the lovely deck of the Tidewater Grille in Havre de Grace, MD.
Both shots taken July 25, 2005 Thanks for viewing. Rob Benkovitz West Palm Beach, FL Date: 03/28/20 10:24 Re: Banana through the gloom Author: retcsxcfm As empty as those tables are,I thought
