Threes the charm. Lets take the F unit for one last ride!

One last F unit dump! I figured that three is enough for now, but there will be more later. 

top...Williamsport helper shoving B&O coal drag up the hill.

middle...Ellwood City Pa, 1973...Old B&O main between Pittsburgh and New Castle.

bottom...west end Rockville bridge, 1969.

Another outstanding bunch. Really unique A-B-B-A in number eight. I believe only three roads could have done that. Four if you include pre PC Pennsy.

As I always took the PC/CR F-units in Akron from the ground, your overhead photo is a fresh look at an old location. Thanks for sharing all of these.

Bill, I cannot thank you enough for sharing all of your outstanding photos from the past with all of us.  I remember seeing so many of the F units through the years and I am so mad at myself for not photographing them more like you did.  Too many of us stayed busy with other things figuring that they would always be there.  We were dumb for sure.  Anyhow, please post more when you have the time.  Meanwhile stay safe and stay well.
