By the "late 60's-early 70's" the first SD45 units were delivered (1967) and the first U33C units (1968) were on the roster, soon followed by repeat orders of both. What's of interest to me is both the C425 and GP35 still carry their as delivered lettering and black background number boards. Surprisingly a couple of EL units made it all the way to C-day with the maroon Roman lettering on the gray. Also as a note, the EL GP35's ran 2551 through 2586, there never was a 2533 on the EL roster. They were not happy that their last six F3's beat all their newer power.
