A very grey day brightend by the Bi-Centennial unit. Glad you went trackside. Was this area electrified in 1976?

Trackside, was a labor of love!  It was a cold, snowy day.  Thanks to a scanner, planning this meet was easy.  What brightened the shot was use of a fill-in flash.

Remembering back to 2007, electrification ran from Great Notch on the former Greenwood Lake Line to the former DL&W Montclair Branch, on to Penn Station, NYC.  I don't know of any more since.  When I rode it from Boonton, trains were diesel powered to Great Notch, and electric from there..
