Looks like the Dallas section of the train just leaving the Santa Fe depot in Fort Worth ready to enter the MP (T&P) mainline at Tower 55 eastbound to Dallas. Neat set of photos, thanks! Very nice, I did not know that was you. Yes I think there are some more in there which I will post as I get to them. I got these in a collection from Rik Anderson from Cedar Falls (Iowa); he was a dispacher for the RI in the '70s, then went to the BN, then IC, and retired from CN. He's slowly getting out of the railfan business and sold me his slide collection last year. A lot of material there (1500 or so) but I'm getting them scanned a few at a time. Will try to let you know when I get some more done. Thanks for letting us know! Andy |
