SD9s on the NWP
Author: loleta

SP 4315 leads another SD9 and a Geep northbound near Penngrove with the evening train out of Petaluma. This was a pretty typical scene at the time, May 1990.

Definitely not B.C., but a beautiful scene nonetheless.

Inbound lumber from Oregon and wherever. People are surprised how much inbound lumber the NWP received

inbound load; that explains the BN bulkhead flat.
I wonder if the NWP re-loaded it or sent it back empty.
Would have made a good car for a load to Texas where the BN could have gotten the empty.
